woman: Oh, hey. We're not really talking about men. Maybe you can join in another time.

guy: But as a man, I have important feelings about this subject!
woman: That's fine, but we're not here to talk about that right now. Maybe some other-
guy: I want us all to discuss these feeling!

guy: QUIET EVERYONE. IT'S OK. I'M A MAN AND I SUPPORT YOUR CAUSE!
Woman: Cool. Thanks. Now if you'll excuse us...
guy: I'D LIKE TO TALK ABOUT HOW MOST GUYS ARE GOOD MEN. MEN LIKE ME. ONCE I SAVED A GIRL FROM GETTING ASSAULTED. WASN'T THAT GOOD OF ME?

woman: Listen. We'd really like to get back to our conversation.
guy: I don't know anything the history or theory or social background around what you're talking about.
woman: There's lots of resources out there if you look...
guy: No. You should stop your conversation and educate me so I can participate fully.

Woman: Guys. You're great. Really. But we're doing our own thing over here. Can we just get back to it?
guys: Feminazies! Misandry! Sluts! Reverse Discrimination!

Woman [to women]: Oh, right. I forgot to activate the Asshole-Distractobot.
There we go.
[distractobot inflates].

[robot voice]:Hello men. I am glad you are here. Let us talk about your feelings.
guy: Well, I don't understand how women can feel that way about this. Here are my opinions on what women should do.

woman: Finally. So, women?
[women]
Transitioning women!
Superlesbians!

[distractobot to guys in background]: That is an interesting and original opinion. Please tell me more.

EDIT: Some folk were concerned that the original version of this comic had dialogue that was implying that trans men were lesbians (specifically superlesbians). I have modified the comic slightly to try to amend that. You can see the original version here. New Comic! First of all, I want to welcome anyone who's here after finding me through Monday's comic. That really took off and I'm glad you all seemed to like it! But Men is something I've been meaning to write about for a while (also, Butt Men. I'm getting around to it). Basically it's the phenomenon of women/genderqueer/trans people talking about things that relate to them, and a guy coming along and trying to make the conversation about men. I guarantee you that any discussion you see online around feminism/gender stuff has some idiot guy saying 'but men!'. And you want to just be like 'dude. seriously. can you not have a conversation be about you for once?'. There's a much longer and more complex post about this coming, I promise. Good to see you all here, though. I hope you stick around.
